Client service orientation has been the common thread in Howard and Teri’s careers. They created this company to satisfy advertisers’ media strategy needs. The unique perspective they have is created from their experience from both sides of the media equation: Media Sales/Management vs. Media Planning/Buying. Working together, they make a difference for their clients as they manage all the different relationships in the media strategy equation.
Lots of ad agencies have media buyers. Some agencies have really good media buyers. But we have Teri Buonasera. She’s not only an outstanding, experienced buyer; she’s a true media strategist. And when it comes to negotiating, Teri gets what she wants and more. In fact, she’s developed and implemented more plans and places more advertising media than any other media director in the state of South Carolina.
Our President, Howard Buonasera, has more than 30 years’ experience in the advertising industry. His outstanding performance record is due to his ability to acquire the resources required to create and sustain productive relationships with co-workers and customers – both cable operators and advertising clients – throughout the Southeast and specifically in South Carolina.
Our Vice-President Zach Cox heads up Digital Media and is happy being “back to his roots” in account service and media planning, after developing a successful sales and management career in the broadcast TV/digital industry. Zach’s experience on both sides of the fence has helped him to gain a thorough understanding of efficiencies in the industry and stay on top of trends among emerging media. The main goal of it all: move the needle and positive ROI. Zach lives in Lexington with his wife Kim and three children.
With over fifteen years in digital and print media, our Vice-President Lauren Libet is a marketing and thought leader. She is deeply insightful and committed to overall campaign and client success.Her vast business experience, marketing prowess and digital acumen allows her to assess a situation from a true solutions standpoint, focusing on both intermediate and long-term performance indicators.
Olivia Hyatt is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. After majoring in Sport and Entertainment Management, Olivia began her career in marketing and coordination of live events. During that time, Olivia worked with some of the largest concerts and sporting events in the state before transitioning her skills over to sales and promotions of broadcast television. For the past 5 years, Olivia worked with local and national clients managing nontraditional revenue, sponsorships, and media partnerships. Her passion lies in helping businesses find the balance in utilizing traditional and non-traditional opportunities to achieve their marketing goals. Olivia lives in Lexington, SC with her husband, Shane and their two sons. Olivia is still an active supporter of the University of South Carolina serving on the Alumni Society Advisory Board.
Sharon is approaching 20 years of experience in advertising. She has worked with several regional/national media companies having rolls in Client Service, digital media, campaign analytics and accounting. Her media experience includes digital media, audience targeting, paid search, OTT, email marketing, direct mail, print, and preprints.
Sharon is extremely knowledgeable in campaign performance and optimization and she has helped many clients increase ROI and reach through digital marketing. Her experience, attention to detail and commitment to quality performance all make her a valuable asset to the Buonasera Media team.
Sharon grew up in Columbia and is a mother of two children. She currently lives in Blythewood with her husband and daughter and she enjoys college football, yard sales and spontaneous road trips with her family.
